Gypsum

Do they run there own truck’s still

Most is subbed out,3PLs like DHL usually run the transport.

Why cant it go into landfill anymore,it was mined in the first place.

Don’t Ceva run a lot of there trailers these days?

Think CEVA have got it now - see a few of their units pulling the trailers on the M5, plus seen Gypsum branded blue/white MANs heading towards their Patchway yard.

I don’t know, quick pic I found on Flickr. I just know I see quite a few Gypsum trailers filling up at Ullswater Road Garage and it’s always a Ceva unit on the front

Think Malcolms got it out of Sherburn ? Or did have

Malcolms were doing a bit out of East Leake too last time I was in there (2011)

Ceva have east leake now took it over about three months ago dhl still have barrow on soar

DHL have still got some, I saw a DHL unit pulling a Gypsum trailer the other day.

They had there own unit’s/driver’s in Ireland untill xmas gone. Now a Dublin haulier has the work. The now gone driver’s where on a decent wage and did there work but i guess that type of work is easy subbed out. Did Gypsum ever run there own truck’s in the UK

I’ve driven that one, Feb 29th night shift to their Uddingston depot according to my diary.

Remember going to Kirkby not long after passing my test the bays were a right ■■■■ to reverse into

No loss - for the best part of a year I went into East Leake every night. Personally I think the people that work for Gypsum there (not the DHL staff) are trained by the same people that train the Wakefield Coca Cola staff - they are all miserable, unhelpful, overpaid, too many breaks lazy so and so s who wouldn’t last a minute in a job that required any amount of hard work. The trailers were never loaded on time the bays were a nightmare to get in and out of a volvo in when parked up due to bays been at trailer height unable to open doors unless unit parked ■■■■ eyed. I wish anyone who goes in there regularly good luck!!!

British Gypsum in Robertsbridge seem to have Jempsons running alot of the transport

each site has a different haulage company doing the logistics i work at the sherburn site for gypsum and the tender for a new haulage contract is coming up soon so lets see if malcolms keep it
