the lad is a legend. that has to be one of the best bits of TV i have seen for a long time.
Have to agree with that
He’s just one of the lads having a good time
Time for a cup of tea
Absolutely brilliant.
As already said … a legend and some of the best TV for a long time.
Can I join the love in, That bloke is made of something special, well done Guy .
Bloody glad he’s not going to Flop Gear.
I’ve seen Guy riding the Wall of Death at Lincoln Showground a couple of times.
That was a good program when he raced David Coultard, really down to earth guy couldn’t help checking out Red Bulls Renault when he’s got some spare time
Totally agree lads he’s a top bloke did a great doc on the battle of Britain even flew a spitfire proper geaser
2500 mile cycle from Canada to New Mexico his next challenge in June. Apparently it’s cycle/sleep, repeat until finished. Sounds like masochism!
My wife said disgutingly, “is that it” !
I could not be bothered to explain the laws of gravity to her.
The man is an absolute LEGEND!!!
Both his books need reading if you haven’t already
Brilliant bit of TV, but…
Near the end, when he broke the record, he wanted to go again (to push even further??), but C4 said ‘WE’ are out of time!!■■
Shame on C4!
On Farce Buck today

I was quite pleased he didn’t get another go, I was really starting to fear for him, he got a nasty wobble-on on his record run due to him starting to black out with the G forces, and yet he was going to try and do it faster? he never seems to know when to stop, i guess that is what makes him such an incredible person.
I did like the sound of the ‘Indian’ but his home made bike, the one he broke the record on was more his style.

It looked to me more like the Indian was the superior bike for the job in being more stable while the bitsa special seemed to not be up to it.I’d guess given a bit more engine tuning the Indian probably would have got into the 80’s mph possibly even a bit more.On that note and like the true movie story the World’s Fastest Indian I’d say the bike was at least as much the star in this case.
Respect to the bloke, deserved the record.

Aww, how can you better the sound of a wailing Brit triple (a BSA in this case?) ?
Agree with above - LEG-END. I’ve been looking forward to this since reading his second book, “When You Dead, You Dead”, at Christmas - highly recommended.

Triumph actually (750 Speed Triple) in a Rob North frame. Impressive though.
He sure has got some balls.
Probably back at Moody’s this week fixing trucks.
Down to earth and talented. I like a man who jokes about the price of scrap metal within his corpse!
Well done Guy.
Good luck in the TT this year.
Gets my vote for Trucker off the year.
