Has anyone else noticed that the people who damage trucks and don’t report it all eat flaky pastry for dinner as well and leave it all over the cab?
same agency drivers who walk all over the cab with shoes on use your bedding leave newspapers and all sorts of crap everywhere i was off sick 2 days last week.dont they realise it,s my home 5 days a week

Thats down to Ginsters sausage rolls and pasties
I’ve had it the other way round.
I’ve worked for a company as an agency driver and spent a good 20 minutes noting down all the scrapes and dents on the truck before starting my shift.
When the regular drivers haven’t noted anything down for weeks, it looks a bit strange that all these defects have “suddenly appeared” just when the truck is in my care!
I’m always worried that I’ll get blamed for dings that were nothing to do with me at all - and an agency driver may not always be believed over a company man…

Once trailer is picked up i report if any damage to trailer.
Also if i do happen to “touch” a wall or post at some of tight places i report damage when i get back
As some delivery points are some what veryyyyyyy tight!
