Hi, I am looking for a security-parking in Belgrade, Serbia… Anyone here who can help me?? Best Regards, Anders from Sweden!
Hello Anders welcome to Trucknetuk, please
have a look through the stickys that are at the top of the forum as you will find information about SERBIA
is there also about parking from the IRU the link is from
2007 but it is okay also some one will turn up and post
a tip perhaps later on,
I have already visit IRU-homepage but could not find anything about parking in Serbia. But i find lots of other parking-places in east-europe but not anything about Serbia Best Regards, Anders
driving into belgrade the first thing you see would be the customs compound, I would guess it should be possible to park there as I really don’t know any other guarded parking areas in srb and from what I’ve heard and seen myself, there really is no need for one.
Hi Anders,
It’s many years since I did Belgrade, so I can’t give a good answer to your question.
I do suggest that you check out what brit pete said, because there lots of useful info in the ‘sticky.’
well, im not leaving the truck for 5 days at a regular parking. The custom area is a option if i dont can find a security-parking. Best Regards, Anders
Anders if you are doing a exibition or a concert
then have you spoken to the people who are doing
the orginisation there in the city, you may find
they have some thing inplace as regards security, also what about seeing if willi betz has a depot there if so ask if you
can park in their yard and offer to pay for this, just a thought,

Never having been to Serbia, let alone Belgrade, I’ve no idea of where to find the Customs compound.
Which route or road number would it be on (or just off)?
I agree about never having heard or seen much reason to need ‘secure’ parking.
The further East you go, the fewer the ‘problem areas’ seem to be.
(I’ve only been as far East as the Eastern border of Germany.)
I would prefer to park a load of particularly attractive goods somewhere secure though, rather than simply camouflaging it in a lorry park.
the customs compound can be found at the intersection of E70(zagreb-beograd) and E75(budapest-beograd), huge signs there also
Thanks everyone for the help and information, im driving a concert and have been in touch with the people from the theater and they promised me to check if a could park the truck there. But if they not can help me its good to have other options Best Regards, Anders

Ahh, thanks for the extra info Anders.
Now I know your doing a concert, I’d suggest that you ask the promotion company about parking your truck, because they’ll almost certainly be able to help you. I used to do rock-and-roll tours, so I do agree that security is an important issue.

Hello England! Now back from my Belgrade-journey. I went to Hotel Nacional and parked there. A very good parking with coold beer(1 Euro for a big one) and good food. As Geoff wrote its located on E70, on the right side if you come from Zagreb. 6-7 km before centrum! Pictures from my trip on: www.turnetransport.se Best regards, Anders
great photos and a tidy looking truck thanks for posting mate.
I stopped at the National Hotel Belgrade on route to Kosovo at easter, not the biggest parking area but the food and beer very good at a reasonable price.
