heard today that Moscow has 9000 snowploughs on the road…who’s going to pay if that happened here?
trouble is that in the old days council’s had workers who could double up for path clearing and local road clearing.
now they are all contractors.
you have to have the plough drivers on 24hr retainer and that’s going to cost

It’s elf and safety training in case anyone’s left a car in the way,in a snow drift,when you’re about to plough through it.So they reckon that a plumbing course is more relevant to how to make an emergency stop on ice than the driving test is.
