I can do the job better as I am ADR and he is not

simply not true. unless the job needs ADR , the qualification has no bearing.
its a bit like saying I can do your job better than you because I have ADR and a pilots licence

and I assume that as he has not got ADR the job doesn’t need it or he wouldn’t have got the job.

I honestly think that you are simply going to have to live with this one, or threaten to leave yourself, in which case you might just find out exactly how much your boss does value you!

Agreed.

The ADR qualification may get you jobs that you couldn’t get without it, maybe even better paid jobs, but if the jobs doesn’t call for it, you’ll get the same wage with or without it as a rule.

I have ADR, not used it, doesn’t seem to be much call, and when there is, it pays the same as none-adr, so I go for the none-adr work for an easier life :wink:
