Gregory's minworth

Hi all
Anyone help me with any info on the company what they like to work for what’s the pay like
Thanks
Stu

i go in there once or twice every week, the guys seem happy enough with there lot, they complain about the smell of the sewage treatment plant across the road when the wind is blowing in they,re direction

Thanks l used to work for another company years ago in minworth so l know what you mean

I’ve worked for them through a subbie, the office staff are all helpful, the Cadbury works easy, I spoke to a driver who was happy with the money but I’m not sure what the pay is

worked there as did gunner … don’t know about pay rates now but they only paid out O/T if you booked POA if you didn’t it was banked pay , pain in the arse and naughty

Gregory’s normally get a good write up on here so they must be ok and the Gregory depots I’ve been to including Minworth they all seem friendly and sound.

I worked for them as a self employed driver a few years ago, on the fridge work with cheese to Wales, and the triangle trunk from their old Keynsham depot, which is now IJ Mgills, to Minworth, then down to Perivale in London with chocolate, then back to base.
A very well run firm, good kit, when i was there one of the managers died of a myacardial infarction in his office, Dave Durston RIP.
Friendly and approachable, and free chocolate at the Cadbury depots, but it was theft if you left the site with it, the idea was to make you sick of the stuff, so you do not want anymore.
Also went to Bournville quite a lot, i once saw a tanker lose its load of melted chocolate by the front entrance and work men using shovels to clean it up.
The old Tormaton site off the M4 exit for Bath was bought out by James Dyson so he could have some peace in his mansion with views to Wales in the valley, he told them to be quieter, the site is industrial at the moment.
They used to run out of a depot near Asda at Longwell Green in Bristol, it is now a shopping complex.
