Gregory Distribution Minworth

Travelling from Hull for a days work with these tomorrow.
Any information about what they’re like to work for, and what kind of work I can expect please■■?

It’ll be Cadbury stuff possibly trunking, a ■■■■ long way to come for a days work :open_mouth:

it might be the walking floors on the recycling. if so it’ll probably be dusty

very much doubt it will be the recycling cos you have to be trained up on it first and the blokes already on it are very cluiqe :frowning:
as o/p said it will more than likely be cadburys work, hours will be very hit or miss!! ranging from min 8 up to 10-12
best of luck it aint a bad place to work actually

A days work to get there and back isn’t it ? Just being nosey but why are you travelling so far ? I did do Skelmersdale to Stoke to do a day for George but that was an exception and I got 2 extra hours pay for travelling. (£27)

No work in Hull this weekend! No money for travelling but extra £3 ph on rate compared to Hull rates plus I can deduct 45p per mile travelling for tax and benefit purposes. Hopefully get something Sunday too so I’ll stay down in hotel tonight.

Travelling from Hull to Minworth for a days work and you’re still up at 02.33 :open_mouth:

He’s properly just setting off!
There’s loads work at stobarts goole or is that too close?

WTF! Hull to Minworth commute for a weekends graft, jeez this country’s broken.

Each to their own I suppose it’ll be a dodder on Cadbury work, just take it easy in bourneville if you go.

Just say its 50-60 quid for a hotel and a meal ,then 40quid in petrol you’re looking at forking out 100quid so you can do 2 shifts which will make you how much?.. 200quid maybe

£25 diesel £30 hotel. Wages based on 12 hour days £312 gross. That’s £257 net and then I offset hotel and 270 miles at 45ppm so I’ll get £100 ish in housing benefit. Or I could stay home and earn nothing I suppose.

that`s some mpg…what car do you drive

Well he’s probly on a guaranteed 300 quid or so but surprised he can’t get weekend work round hull.

go gently in and out of the gate , its a bit of a ramp onto the main road… some of their drivers used to chuck loads of highland spring all over the trailers.
