Is it true they do a liquidised sausage roll to fill up babies bottles ?.
yes that is true,it
also popular with the heroin addicts,it
s the only way they can get a bit of something down them.even better, serve with smash for a quick and tasty sunday dinner.(red sauce optional)

God no who wants them on the motorway when you’ve M&S and Waitrose. I’ve never been in a Greggs and I never intend to! Yes it makes me feel superior
Snob.
I wouldn’t mind if they charged more at the MSA’s. At least you’d have more choice and could steer clear of Mc D’s, BK & KFC, I won’t mention the MSA’s in house offerings or leavings more like.
Greggs do nice sandwiches.
Here’s a Gregg’s fact for you…
Gregg’s DO NOT sell Hot food…
You may be lucky enough to get something thats still warm from the oven but ask for a hot sausage roll or pie and they’ll tell you they dont sell hot food as they have to charge VAT on it as its classed a “Luxury”…
It sounds crazy i know but i had a huge row with the women in Bletchley Greggs over Xmas about her refusal to warm up something…
If it was such a good deal, then we would have had a Nisa, or chinese/indian takeaways, the owners will hike up the rents, the hirees, will up their prices, and your back to square one…dearer meals.
The pressure needs to be put on the government, to reduce the high rents they charge MSA`s…to encourage more eateries.
The crap we have at the moment is abhorrent. crap Mcdonalds, crap Burger king, etc, etc, now people are screaming out for Greggs, more pies vicar…
What we need is good quality HOT food, proper dinners, roasts etc, at a good price, and not food thats been sitting on the hot plate for hours on end, and thats the difficult bit…but maybe we could have truckers cafes, in a seperate area ( like what used to be at watford gap ) but run differently, difference there was, the food used to be brought from the main service area anyway, which is maybe why it closed in the end.
trouble is,a lot folk don`t want proper food, they are more than happy to fill up on fast food.(truckers included).when i used to go in the stockyard i used to eat my dinner on the raised bit that overlooks the counter.you usually had a choice of pork, beef or poultry all of which were beautifully cooked aswell as mash, roasties, cauliflower cheese(my favourite),2 veg and yorkie pud.i would sit there in amazement as people would come in and have to wait whilst the the staff cooked them some chips and something else and what do they top it off with…diet coke
The heat dried filth the types of Lymm serve and the carvery of the Stockyard.
Tough choice innit.

FTFY. You’re welcome.

I do that. Simply because I prefer the taste of the unleaded over the leaded.

To be fair though while I do think a full roast dinner is one of the most delicious dinners known to man it’s hardly a healthy option! I
Imagine more calories than a burger and chips. I’d still rather have a roast though

Well you know a roast is best whichever way you mean it Especially with a chicken…
Greggs, why the hell to they have to use super mega ultimate flaky pastry?
Its a no from me as I hate cleaning up flaky pastry in a cab.
Gotta hand it to the Stockyard, the carvery food looked good last time I was in there, didn’t partake though as I wasn’t hungry. Loads of room to park as well so the fridges can park down the bottom end. Why can’t MSA’s do food like that, I know the stockyards a pub as well so they make money out of the beer which may subsidise the food to a certain extent.

nothing processed, nothing fried, 3 portions of veg, don`t get much healthier in my book
With 67 little thiefs going down the pan ,
theres an open opportunity to expand for Greggs or someone and take over those sites
Bring on the pies … Yum yum
I don’t use any of them now, M&S waitrose or who ever.
Last November I spent a week in hospital on a drip in solitary curtesy of the services on the A34 at Oxford… that was a bit of M&S chicken…Campylabactor nasty… Lost about 2 St in 2 weeks… And I’m not a big fella!!!
So now the only food I eat is made and cooked by me…if I do eat out I’m very very wary of where, but NEVER any cooked chicken…
