Anybody know where this company has come from? All of a sudden I seemed to see lots of their units and trailers. Seem to be nice new Mercs with tidy livery on units and trailers, although I have seen them pulling plain trailers.
I have no interest in working for them, I just wondered of they were a new or just rebranded company.

Cheers for that, looks like a rebrand to me.

I am not sure but I believe a Mr Pete Osborne is involved in some way with this company .
Yet another project by the man himself …Pete Osbourne lurking in the background
No sooner he moves on from 1 project then another starts (innovate being one his last)
iirc most of his projects are lease/finance with rapid expansion. The brickyard site at Maltby where he’s based has had several applications for O licence expansion, the last being the addition of 70 trailers to take on the Tarmac bulk bag work nearby running to builders merchants B&Q etc.
They also seem to be doing a considerable amount of work running loads out of DHL Bawtry. If the local grapevine is correct, the renovation of the nearby wincanton/sainsbury site is warehousing for the GG.
They always seem to be advertising for drivers, as it seems the door revolves rapidly with long/max hours & £7-£8ph wages
And a very nice bit of totty heading up the business, not the sort you’d expect to see near wagons, or wagon drivers!

£7/£8 ph , geez that’s a lot ( for Yorkshire ) , send me an application form ASAP please.

Pete tends to have someone else front the operation for him, as it wasn’t too long ago that the TC lifted the ban on him operating within South Yorkshire, as other sites he was involved with where just over the county Border. Innovate = Derbyshire

The yard is 5mins from my home, let me finish my dinner and I’ll nip round and get you a form.
I wondered whether Seafield were part off it, haven’t seen their trucks since GG seemed to pop up

Yeah, and there’s probably not much chance off seeing her hanging around with wagon driver
typical haulage, start up close down and restart under a different name.
£7/£8 an hour bet they are queuing round the block.

Throw a blinged up truck into the mix and yeah, they probably will be.

iirc GG took over all or part of the Seafield warehouse at Worksop

Yeah was kinda rattling around in My head too
I’ve been doing quite a bit of work for these recently ( through agency ) and got to say I love it there. Never on your back, you ring them when tipped and never done more than 3 drops/collections per day. As been said some days are long ones but I can cope with that when tramping.
I believe they had a pay rise a while ago now on £8.50 per hour straight through.thing what gets me is not only are they not paying overtime the Robbin Gitz stop a hour a day for dinner
I’ve seen a few of theirs working out of SportsDirect in Martland Park in Wigan.
Smart looking vehicles though.

How on earth do the drivers find the spare money to cover their cabs in frilly curtains, name plates and the other tat these sort of firms thrive on

just to correct you on a couple of points…
Innovate was not a Pete Osbourne project, he was brought in by the owners, after the company had been running for quite a while
also, Pete Osbourne left Innovate quite a while before they went bust
i do not know Pete, and have never worked for him, either directly or indirectly
as for the other comments about the ‘totty’, i think that may be his daughter
It’s very good working conditions for non drivers .I can’t say for drivers .he’s took on a class 2 contract I heard and probably the inevitable driving school will appear to maintain driving wages .best of luck to him .
They’re running a few rigids with Moffat Mounties
