There is often talk on here about the best trucker films of all time.
Las Acacias is a fairly recent addition to the list of contenders (2011) but in my opinion is right up there with Duel and The Wages of Fear.
You must check it out if you haven’t seen it!
Film 4, 2:10am Thursday morning.

I don’t think it being in spanish makes much difference. By the sounds of it, it’s one of those films where what is left unsaid is what matters.
Yeah it’s an Argentinian film, Spanish language with English subtitles. There’s not a huge amount of dialogue so you won’t have too much to read.
parkus is right, it’s about what is happening during the long stretches of silence that’s important.
I’d be surprised if you watched it and weren’t impressed. It’s probably the closest you’ll get to doing a run from Paraguay to Buenos Aires.
Enjoy!
Joy Ride, watch all 3 and you’ll feel the same way as any driver who endures our motorway network day in day out!
The last road trip through Argentina that I watched starred Clarkson & Co. That didn’t go too well.
