Hey lads,
Was just wondering if anyone on here done the great north run last weekend. I did it myself for the first time and thought the atmosphere was unreal. 54,000 people running, huge crowds of spectators, would defo recommend it to anyone for the future.
Plus Newcastle is a good venue for a few cool beers afterwards!! 
Done this the 1st 5 years but not in a while well they did change the mth it was ran & the time as it was always in June starting at 09.00 with no elite etc have also been a marshall on it which was also a good day
Have been a spectator the last few years use to take my kids to Heworth roundabout to watch & yes there is always a good atmosphere
