Our old TM left this Exel contract I’m on to go and work for them - somewhere in Essex I think, and I believe that the job was something to do with tyres.
Anyway, this particular guy was the best boss I’ve ever had - ex-RAF, down to earth, very high standards - but very fair. Would back one of ‘his boys’ to the hilt. Called a spade a spade and couldn’t stand excessive paperwork / red tape. Also started out as a driver, so he knew the score!
If Great Bear have people like that working for them, I’d say they were OK.
it’s a michelin contract. interview at 11.30 but a mate of mine went for one yesterday and got the impression it had already gone and they was just going through the motions. will be quite hacked off if this is the case…

worked on agency at stoke michelin…Never again!! 20 drops all hand ball around brum. Never want to see another tyre again!!
i heard it was tyre’in…! but the money is very good for this area.
