Brilliant pics there Robv8, out of interest do you know where this one was taken? Looks somewhere hot, dusty and far away.

The reg plate of the other truck in the picture should give a clue to some of the more widely travelled among us!!

My first atempt at uploading a photo so i hope this works, i think this was the first new truck at RTH which my dad bought off them and used to subbie to them.

Pictured outside their original office at Blaydon Tyneside in 1995 the Scania was brand new.

I apologise for the picture quality one of the first 4 Series in the country and not as reliable as the 143s.

i remember going on a diesel dash with my mate probably about 10 years ago, and the early hours of saturday morning seeing the buggy arriving at dover, always stuck with me, dont know why, maybe it was yourself!!

or spare drivers took it as it was usually last minute stuff,
i mostly drove the bottom one as i worked for R&R Hands who subcontracted to
