The Government has issued a winter travel warning.
They suggest that anyone travelling in icy conditions have the following:
Shovel
Blankets or sleeping bag
Extra clothing including gloves & hat
De-icer
Rock salt
Torch with spare batteries
Reflective triangles
Empty petrol can
First aid kit
Booster cables.
