Got an interview

Got an interview with my work regarding their “Warehouse to Wheels” programme a week on Tuesday. I’ve been there since it opened nearly 7 years ago and this is the first time they’ve ever advertised it. In the past its always been a no no due to insurance requiring 2 years exp’. They are looking to take on 2 people a year. Out of everyone on site (big RDC, no idea on total head count), 39 people applied but only 7 including myself have got an interview.

I think I have a good chance as I require the least amount of investment (covered by CPC for 5 years, paid for my CE etc), I know the interviewers, BUT, I don’t think my face fits as well as others. Only time will tell. In the mean time I’ll continue to send off application forms.

Hope it goes well for you. Get any negative thoughts out of the way. Just remember, they need you as much as you need them.

I’m not pinning any hopes on it, don’t get me wrong it would be brilliant but its a bit too good to be true. If I got it I imagine I’d be tied to them for a few years but beggars can’t be choosers.
