Hey up darb, No it’s a different app, if you put a search in the App Store for google maps, it’s the 1st one in the 2nd row down, called maps+ street view by brainflash. It’s got a blue square with a with a drop pin on a map as an icon, I don’t know how to put it on here like you have

It’s good but you can’t get street view on the app version or I haven’t worked out how to zoom in to it. So I have to keep using the web site version.To get the street view on the iphone app, put in the postcode/address and bring up the map page, at the bottom of the screen is a white bar with the address written on it, pull this bar up and the street view option appears.
You must have got the de luxe version that is to pay for , I’m a cheapskate !

Sorted AJF on my phone you just tap left hand corner of address field not drag.
Yet to see how good it’s gonna be in practice, time will tell when back at work.
