Good video from the BBC

I don’t know what the detection rate or prosecution rate is, but 20k against fines of 60k driver plus 60k vehicle owner, don’t look generous to me.
.
And I don’t care if you get all the porridge you can eat, too!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
laws of avarage.
10 loads of beef links, tabs, booze,or whatever your bringing in.
1 gets caught,possibly 2,
out of the 8 remaining loads that make it,then 1 of them more than covers the 2 that got caught.
the formula is the same for anything from the 2 skanks that got caught in peru ,to those fat assed cretins coming off of the plane every day from jamacia,2 get caught, and 10 walk through…job done

On DD’s and Mazzer’s guestimates…
9x20k money received for successful runs.
30x2k fines for getting caught but both owner and driver pay.
Reward 180k against expenses 120k if owner-driver.
Without mentioning time in court, and any time in custody; seizure of vehicle (temporary or permanent) search for monies previously earnt in pursuit of crime (they may wonder where the tabs n booze money came from), legal fees if you’ve any cash left, being unemployable by any reputable transport company, once you’re free again. Who, down the pub, would buy a drink for someone bringing in illegal immigrants?
.
.
I don’t reckon Deborah Meadon would get on board that scheme, do you?
.
Of course, could get caught first time walk away…
Zip, in the bank and funny looks every time you get off the boat.
.
You could do 20 runs OK. Maybe you want to quit while you’re ahead? But will the lads who have paying you, agree to you retiring from the game?
I wonder?
.
“If you can’t do the time.
Don’t do the crime”
That’s me then. I’m no pretend gangsta, and don’t play silly games with the rough boys.

Any one know who gets to keep those boats and outboards that they come in, they look to be quite expensive ,fuel alone is not cheap.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
after a period of time they get sold at public auction where the same scumbags that lost them can front someone else to buy them back again only this time much cheaper…for cash.

Wonder where the get sold, i’ve picked up loads of seized cars from Dover customs in times gone by and dropped them at Paddock Wood auctions, don’t know if that’s still where the vehicles go.

They’re not going to stop it, and why should they?

We continue to vote for dishonourable people with no backbone, who fail completely to put our country and it’s people, even its most vulnerable citizens, children, first, who allow convicted terrorists out on early release and seem amazed when they immediately revert to type (handily those who made such decisions won’t fall prey, protected see) they must assume because we keep electing them that they are doing the right thing.
You have to ask yourself why do those in government and other elected leaders , ie mayors, want our country to be a dangerous place for decent people, what’s in it for them, and then ask yourself why the public continue to put their trust in such people when they prove not to be up to the task.

And another bus went past.

It seems obvious that they are travelling across Europe from numerous third world zb holes of their own making. With the intention of getting here and only here.Whatever it is that’s attracting them it obviously isn’t anything to do with France,it’s all about what our government is offering them on arrival.

A caveat on those figures is that those are only known people and doesn’t include those who have disappeared into the black economy something it is far easier to do in the UK than most other European countries

Those are only documented asylum seekers, absolutely true.

Undocumented, illegal immigrants, dunno?
But the latter aren’t being given housing, benefits or legit jobs, but could be working in various areas of the black economy.

Surely the present government is now acting to change things - at least towards “early released terrorists” - what with this guy being blown away 8 seconds after he stabbed some random member of the public…

Long term here - isn’t it better that the guy wasn’t prevented from leaving jail early, seeing that he is now pushing up the daisies, and no longer a burden to the taxpayer for years to come?

I would argue that it is a good thing our government have scrapped this former policy of “don’t shoot the terrorists - we don’t want to make them martyrs”.
If our new known-to-be Right Wing Home Secretary has now adopted a “shoot to kill” policy - then what’s not-to-like?

The next terrorist who thinks our police will hesitate to put a bullet in him “just because he’s apparently wearing a suicide vest” - can look forward to taking an early dirt nap instead from now on.
“Suicide by Cop” - is likely to show an increase, but each one stopping a bullet - is another one no longer a drain on the taxpayer, and our country benefits as a consequence - right?

Calais has got better, but you still see people gathering around Transmark and walking up the A16 and A26/E15. The problem has started to move, Dunkirk is now bad, so is Le Harve and Caen, I’ve started to see groups around Rotterdam too, this is an issue that the whole of Europe need to sort out, not just try to push it further along the line.

Well they apparently had three plain clothes coppers following him around, which means goodness knows how many in the round the clock teams, so exactly how much is it costing to follow one scumbag around instead of keeping him locked up until no longer a danger to the public.
And how many more scumbags are out there that need following and who might resort to type at any moment.

In this case i suspect the old bill watching were not actually expecting it to revert to type in the street so soon after early release (or they’d have put him down) and it was an intelligence gathering operation following it about to see who what and where, no doubt the real decent coppers assigned to this job are as appalled as anyone else that it and others have been not only handed derisory sentences but allowed out to roam the streets again at half way point, not as they’d say anything because the coppers themselves are monitored more than anyone for wrong thought.

These things, killers, you can’t really call them people, are no danger at all to those who made the decisions to allow them here in the first place, nor to those who gave them nice short sentences, nor to those who allowed them out, all living in safe exclusive protected bubbles.

The last thing before this one was a danger to young impressionable decent people who thought they might be doing some good getting involved with re-habilitation schemes, look how that worked out for them.
The people they are a danger to are the general man and woman and child in the street, or hundreds of ordinary people out enjoying a concert, but ordinary proles don’t count for much up in ivory towers where decisions and policy are made.

I have no problem with a shoot to kill policy either.
Soon as a machete or knife is produced in anger putting whoever it is down permanently is fine by me.
