good run

warrington to bransholme (hull) upto darlington then newcastle on tyne then back to warrington.14ft high trailor

quick look at google say hull back to a1 and up that way, not tried it with truck map on tomtom yet.
which way would you go from bransholme to darlington, i thought 1079 seems quicker.

A1079 / York outer ring / A19 to Thirsk ( via Easingwold ) or A59 to A1M … ALL A roads ( so legally 40 mph  ) A63 / M62 / A1M / 50 / 56 MPH … think i might have gone M62 / A1 route
A1079 can be a right pain if you get behind “muddy wheeler” etc :unamused:

cheers just m62 /a1 seems longer but suppose quicker

You’ll make as much time running back the 62 to ferrybridge and up a1

the problem with the 1079 is the tractors this time of year, back to the A1. :bulb:

Well? How was it and which way did you go?
Do tell

went up 1079 to a64 york then a1,good run no delays no loss of time, enjoyed it more than straight motorway and some of the views made it worthwhile.

the views in bransholme are stunning
