“Boris” and “control” in the same sentence is kind of concerning isn’t it?
But you’re right I should not be misersble, I should be laughing aloud really: the Brexit campaign slogan “take back control” has ended with unelected spin doctor ■■■■■■■■ controling the cabinet, Trump controlling our technology purchases, China controlling our finances, Russia controlling our elections, and leaves Johnson trying to control who committees elect as chairman, but failing at that.
With us about to spend more on Brexit than the imaginary savings we were promised, and Johnson now openly disagreeing with health expert advice, as he previously ignored economic advisors, statistical advisors, and defence experts, we are in for an absolutely hilarious few years ahead!

The bottom line is that there are extra bits of paper and electronic forms. People are employed to do this, and time is taken on extra checks.
The bottom line, is that consumers, you and I will pay. Be it Gov money (taxes) or private companies, (who pass on their costs and turn profit) Brexit will cost us.
Doing the job quickly at Turkey or Russia border is still longer than no time at all. We trade in much greater volumes than either if those two countries. We don’t have parking for even a few hours delay hence the Gov buying (with our money) extra land.
