Good news for Muller Wiseman

Bad news for farmers and joe public…

Less competition is never good

I know that in certain parts of of the country that will mean that any milk you buy in a Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl, Iceland, Waitrose, M&S, Booths, Co-op, NISA or One Stop store will be processed by Wiseman. On top of most milk purchased by independent retailers from the likes of Bookers and many wholesalers.

That’s decent dominance, may not get passed by the competition authorities. :bulb:

who does that leave us with …wisemans and arla and a few little ones…very sad

what about the poor cows,

Tbh I’ve never seen a truck round here delivering to stores that ISN’T a Wisemann’s motor.

It’s like the papers and Menzies.

lets face it the germans have our economy sewn up, the amount of german companies in this country is staggering

More work for Culina then

I doubt it Nick we have absolutely nothing to do with Wiseman and I’m sure the same would apply to Dairy Crest well hopefully anyway don’t really feel like pushing milk trolleys about.

Culina are in our place frequently, pulling their own refrigderated trailers aswell

tesco and sainsbury are calling the shots…

The Tesco Farm pledge… :grimacing:

Gregorys have all the contracts listed in that artical, cathedral city etc. in the southwest.

Britain’s biggest dairy firm Dairy Crest revealed this morning it is to sell its diaries operations to European giant Muller

wish the paper would make up its mind, are they selling milk or DIARIES?

I think Wiseman’s use them as an occasional subbie. We had them at our place quite a bit for a few weeks earlier this year having trunked the milk up from down south, not seen them since. Wouldn’t surprise me if the company ends up farming out more of the trunking work in years to come though.

Just a few simple exercises to make sure you can read, count & add up as you need to be able to check off orders.
