We work around 40-50 hours a week mon- Fri, no weekends and no bank holidays, we are on a salary that is at the top end . I do 4 nights out a week at £22.39. That is my choice tho. Iam more than happy with my wage , but people will always want more.
The job is quite enjoyable especially using the hiab, but not the meat head forklift driver that drives into your trailor
The Truck is a flat roof fh12…
Ex Haulier:
I only ask because where i am doing agency at the moment they are on £32,000 a year for 40 hours. Hard work and tight schedules but they seem to be doing ok.

I only ask because where i am doing agency at the moment they are on £32,000 a year for 40 hours. They can then bank up extra hours and either take the money or extra holiday each month. Some of them are doing 40 thousand plus a year with no nights out. Hard work and tight schedules but they seem to be doing ok.
Well is that all
!!! I would’nt get out of bed for that
I have a brand new fully loaded FH16, I work 35 hours per week, and take home a Grand a week.

I guess you are working for a firm that makes it’s own stuff, and delivers it with it’s own fleet?
Such jobs are always worth having and invariably have better pay and conditions than general
hauliers, even if it means driving an old rigid.
Incidentally, when I had such a job you would not have got an artic into most of the drops.
