Do you ever have one of those months where every day seems rosy for a week, then the following week everything that went well just falls apart.
I had an appointment about 40 miles away yesterday, but my car was in for test, So my mate offered to take me at 7.30 in the morning, he was still rat arsed from the night before and i’m not insured on his car. So that was that totally [zb]ed.
I got my car back last night and it needed nothing doing to it, So i’ve got a nice shiny 12 month ticket and treated it to a nice warm wash, I got in it this morning, She started no problem and i took my lad to school. After that i set off to where i had to go, I put my foot down, it red lined and the revs wouldn’t drop, i switched off the ignition whilst letting it coast to somewhere safe, The revs were still up even with the ignition off, The road filled with smoke, a glowplug went bang and so did the turbo. i got the wife to tow me home, She nearly killed me on a roundabout, It’s not only her car that has to get round the roundabout, it’s the big idiot in the black car on the end of a rope that has to get round it too.
I’m getting my hard hat out, just in case a meteor happens to be heading my way. you couldn’t rule it out.
