Too bad for the poor ■■■■ behind in an iveco though.

Funny how its mainly Volvo vehicles that get these safety systems, doesn’t say much for Volvo drivers haha.
Volvo invented SIPS for there cars because its mainly dopey Volvo car drivers which would pull out in front of you at a junction.
Maybe Volvo have come to the conclusion, it’s mainly dopey Volvo truck drivers that rear end a line of stationary traffic on a motorway/dual carriageway

Volvo have always been the pioneers in vehicle safety, they invented the 3 point seat belt in 1959 and the fact they didnt patent it speaks volumes about the company. Im a big volvo car fan and have had a 740 and two 850s. There bloody good cars, that are easy to work on, built well, powerful enough to overtake most cars with ease and ulimately very safe.

.Hiya their’s a few F88/9 drivers on truck net will tell you, Volvo never considered stopping a 88/89 keep em rolling.
the blasted things did’nt like slowing down yet alone stopping. you soon got to know how to notch trailer brakes up
when you had a 88. around buxton you could knock a set of trailer brakes out in 6 weeks running from Cauldon to Hope cement works.3 times a day, the f 86 eight wheelers would throw you through the screen. same foot valve same linings.
