is that all you get for week or all you want to do all week,if thats all you get/can earn for week then its crap to be honest, never mind hourly rates, couple of days 245 p.w take home is pants,id rather have my take home for 6 days, silly starts,w/ends etc,i moan about my holiday pay so id be moaning about that p.w.
but if its all you want to do per week, couple of days then id say its good,245 net for 2 days work,i know few old timers who just do sat/sun on agency, very happy with what they get,but like one said no mortage, kids flew the nest, pension, just treat it as pocket money, then days out mon-fri.

What are you on Sid , self emp. Agency , or paye ? Is it a regular thing or just a one off ?
Bank staff as and when but normally 3,4,5 days every week PAYE. I just thought it would give others an idea as theres alsorts of talk on here and I think I,m out of touch thinking its ok money. Seems some people cant accept when someone is prepared to say it as it is! All I want is a guide as to where this type of pay stands in the market as a whole

245:3=£81,25 for every Day
If you work for anyone else you could earn more (easily)

Thanks for that straight answer. Is it very bad take home 81.25 I just dont know as I find it difficult to get an idea from others. My missus is a social worker and gets about 1800 mth take home and I thought that was good, but I,m out of touch having struggled along being self employed for twenty odd years,
They weren’t full days and I’d say it’s good money for a couple of shifts. Guys at my work start at 4am and finish at 2pm, 5 days a week including 2 weekends out of 3 doing hard graft multi drop and come out with £100 more.

I wouuld have said that your calculation is a bit simplistic, without knowing the actual hours. But as one one off, probs a bit light, if it was regular and you could tie in other work, and the actual hours arent too exccesive then maybe its not so bad, but need to know your actual hours before I commit

I agree with you on that especialy the holiday pay, but I dont knock how others wish to work
This is darrn sarrth enough to get £10x15 hours per day. I think you should be taking home somewhat more than £81 as a result, let alone not going home at night as well!
In Hatfield you don’t have enough mushy peas and black pudding to fill your shopping trolly with, so this wage wouldn’t even buy a trolly full for an average family, especially as tescos have now done away with their value range.
Dunno why this is all considered a “brag” though, unless its the brag of “I get more tax credits than Winseer!”
If your happy with that amount then that’s all that matters I get the same hourly rate from start to finish even when I’m in the yard or driving a van but I can live on my earnings n I’m happy in my job there’s only the 7.5tonner driver that’s on less money than us artic drivers
