The screens leek
The heaters fail (not important in the middle east)
The fuel gauges fail
The mirrors donāt work
Seatās are about as comfortable as a 70ās Triumph
All the Premiums Iāve driven since 53 plate, have never had any of those problems.
However, drivers doorlocks do fail if used as manual, but theyāre remote now so thatās not an issue really, and I would advise anyone having one to fit window defelctors, as there is no protection when using the wash/wipe.

Driven Premuims of various ages and conditions since they were first introduced, 1996 I think. Ok they were never a top of the range truck, but I never had to many problems with them.
and defiently none of the problems you had. And I thought they were more comfortable that an Actros.
I drove the New version last year, and that was a big improvement on the old Premium, more power, quieter and better ride.
I had an 07 new for 2 years and would have another tommorrow. Cracking motor, nice auto box, enough pull and very comfy to drive with enough storage for me. The only thing I wish that they would sort, and still cannot believe they haven`t is the stupid size of the side lockers.
i drive them at a local firm i do some work for, theyāve got 7 of them from 07 plate onwards, nice motors, comfy, plenty of power with a 460 lump in them, nice auto box.nice enviroment to be in for the day really,at least they come with an arm rest which is more than than scania/volvo do

Woolpit yard has seen the arrival of scores of new tractor units in the last few weeks. Mainly Premiums, but also 60 reg Manās and Dafās. I noticed this afternoon that all the Leggetts ex-Irlams tractor units are parked at the end of the yard, perhaps they are being disposed of as part of this replacement programme? Leggetts only had 43 trucks when Goldstar acquired them and most of these were old-ish. There arenāt many in original Leggetts livery now, I would imagine that GS wonāt hold on to them for long. As for GSās position, they made some 2m+ operating profit last year, and have a major expansion programme going on, so I would not think there are any worries there!
Shrewd buy the premuims turned out to be saw a goldstar premium broken down on the m20 near swanley for best part of today
