When you’re away on holiday, do you lock away your cab stuff in your overhead lockers or remove it completely? I only do about one night out per week and when I’m away in two weeks whoever covers my runs won’t be nighting out. I was just going to lock away my food (dry, non perishable etc), road atlases, sleeping bag etc. My workmates mostly agree, the odd one says locking away maps is a bit extreme. Opinions ladies and gents??
Put it in your car and take it with you. Folk will always mess and thieve.
I just park it up and hope the batteries haven’t gone flat when I get back.

I’m taking the locker keys and my lorry keys with me. Whoever uses it will have the spares (minus locker keys naturally).
We have a regular guy who covers for us at holidays and days off and he is a goodn, I take my laptop and bedding out and leave him a bag of mints, seems to work
folk cant leave anything alone you’ve left so you’re best clearing the lot out. leave a pack of polo’s and see if there’s any left on your return.
Take your personal stuff out, only leave the Company stuff in it,leave the cab clean and tidy before you go and then forget about work
Empty the cab mate. Then that way nobody can get the blame if your stuff is stolen or broken.
I left my Snooper sat nav in once.Relief driver said the tv was not working. He broke it but did let me know.
Are there lockers at your workplace?
Or leave it in the car boot.

As the owner operator taking the keys shouldn’t be a problem, however if your the steering wheel attendant employed to driver someone else’s truck your better off emptying the truck and leaving the keys behind so that the boss can utilise the truck while your away to maximise income
