WARNING WARNING WARNING. This clip contains dashcam footage I took today, nobody got hurt, nobody nearly got run off the road and no children were harmed in the making of this film. I just sometimes wish that I was enough of a rebel to do this. Fair play to the fella.
You’re a month out, it’s April
Doh!
It’s paddy on the bang pull in your mirrors!
Makes me weep! If truck in the outside lane is not bad enough, what about the guy in hi-viz on the opposite carriage way, walking along the outside of the truck as the traffic roars past?
Maybe he’s on “Sawyers, trucks and trailers”. Michael only has 3 hrs to cover the 200 miles to the ferry!
Was it pushed forwards or was it damaged?
Depends on the truck as some have some give to be pushed forward.
Nice bit of commentary there drive. You sound very posh

But he was wearing a hi-viz. If he also has safety boots on then he is fine. Nothing can ever go wrong if you are wearing your PPE

Well, if the outside lane was restricted to 6’6" width then it would have been dangerous as he wouldn’t have safely fitted in the lane
Is there a stobbies wagon parked on a h/s on the opposite carriageway? volvo by the looks of it

Ched you missing the point or something… HGV shouldn’t be to be in the outside lane in the first place… doesn’t matter about sizes restrictions…road works, there are rules prohibiting HGV’s using the outer / fast lane of the motorway
sawyers is mostly legal now,old habits die hard though,so obviously his…must make boat…button has been hit,and overides all else.the pedal goes to the metal, and the thing goes to the floor…job done.

He had a Transit van buried under his rear underrun bar, hence wombles in hi vis putting cones out. Disclaimer; nothing to say the Stobbies was at fault btw, the guy rearended him.
