We get given maps of how to get there,and also written instructions onhow to get there,but most are from a main motorway ,a-road,which is fine but if you have to get from drop a-b it can be very difficult as the instructions tell you how to get to each individual shop not how to get from one shop to another,I often keep going back to the m1, m62 and starting each drop from there,it’s easiest,it also can be very confusingif the written instructions tell you to turn right at r/o s-------- in leeds,or take the 2 nd exit off of r/o r-------- in sheffield,completely useless as I don’t know the names of any r/o in sheffield/ leeds etc.
But eventually more by hit than miss you do get there,

could you not buy a good map and figure out where you are rather than doing un-nessicary laps of slip roads and roundabouts? how do you manage to wipe your arse without instruction,
imagine the cheek of your company taking you on as a delivery driver and not giving you directions from A-B
