Sat my Class 1 today,failed.
Got 9 minors and a serious for use of speed!
Just as the examiner went to announce the result,went into my pocket to get my licence as I was 100% sure I had passed.
Felt the drive was much better than my Class 2,which I passed no problem.
On the debrief,he said I had been marked down for the approach to a hazard,an incompleted pedestrian crossing(there was no traffic approaching, coming the other way) and for driving a bit too quickly on a twisty section of B road(I could see 200 to 300 yards other side of corners in question,so made suitable progress,as nothing was coming other way.
Well hacked off,feel I’ve been robbed. 
I was a bit short with my trainer,when he said it wouldn’t take much sorting.
I said if that drive isn’t good enough for me to pass the test,then no amount of extra training by you will sort it,as that is the best drive I have ever done.
first off gsm 31,these next few words are ones that will
most likely upset you,unfortunatly you did notgive the TESTER
a safe ride, and this is what they wish to see, look at it this
way as far as the examiner is concerned the person being
TESTED is there to prove that ,they can drive,handle and cope
with the road traffic, in the vehicle which they require a licence
for,YOU MADE SOME MISTAKES, ones that the EXAMINER
felt as bad enough to fail you,RIGHT know that point is done with
take a step backwards, sit down and go through the test and how
the points picked up came about,take a outsiders look andyou wil
come to another point of view, and when you take your retest
give the EXAMINER what he/she wants A SAFE RIDE; and you
will get the answer back at the end of the TEST …passed
please keep us all upto date as how your retest goes as
you will pass,just like all of those who went before you,

The examiner is testing a learner not an international pro. Don’t confuse him.
Nailed my Class c+e today,only got 5 minors,what a relief. 
Thought my previous test was a better drive and got failed.
