The reason it’s 3 days is because it takes that long to understand what we’re saying up these neck of the woods!

Just of topic, the shunter there has this massive growth on his shoulder he calls “chip” , has a tiny ■■■■■, and suffers constantly with small man syndrome
Don’t tell me the OP has been promised the mythical £1000+ bonus for working ■■ number of shifts at that site in the run up to Xmas. This bonus has been offered year on year, and I’ve yet to meet anyone who has actually got it. And I’ve been asked to work at that site every Xmas for at least 10yrs

Me neither. What exactly are they hoping it will achieve? I sincerely hope it’s a fully paid three days.
An assessment shouldn’t last anymore than an hour or so imo. Vehicle checks, couple & uncouple, drive round, reverse onto some bays.
Was he capable? Check.
Was he safe? Check.
Did he have a good attitude? Check.
Job done.
At the very most an assessed store delivery or whatever.

You’re right an assessment shouldn’t be much more than an hour but I think the OP maybe meant a 3 day induction which obviously is different, I could of course be very wrong.

A lad at our place went to that new aldi at goldthorpe last week,they must have started to fill it with stock,i havent asked him what it was like though,unless it was a supermarket he went to but i cant see it with a full load of the same stuff
