Not to be confused with Gilders Transport at Cheltenham - Same family, different outfit.
Hope it helps.

There are at least three, and as I have been led to believe none speak to the others.
bourton on the water, i was trying to think of that name, i thought moreton in marsh, but thats reminded me kate, did a good few loads down to there to a new estate they built in about 90/91? gilders is pretty easy to spot aint it.
As mentioned if you are coming of the A40 head north down hill past CHELTENHAM turn off, past first bourton turn ,keep going you then come past Bourton ind est ,Gilders is about half mile on the right there are some large conifer trees hiding the yard but signs are outside if you start climbing a hill just outside Stow on the wold you gone too far.
Bourton on the Water is the only location on the Fosse between M40 and Cirencester where there are any traffic cameras so if you see them you are very close to the yard.
I seem to remember one of the Gilders companies was involved in flying out veal calves from Coventry Airport (they were delivering the calves to the airport) for their Air Algeria flight to Belgium - at least before the Boeing 737 crashed in Coventry.
Calv
i wouldny say its not easy to miss if its dark you aint gonna notice the yard on the Fosse behind them leylandi
northbound just past petrol station
southbound just before it
if you miss go to traffic lights and do a u eeee in industrial estate
the trees were only little when i was last there!
Gordon Gilder (the one just off the B4077 near Cheltenham) runs both livestock and chilled transport; a mate of mine ‘bounces’ around Europe for him delivering/collecting produce. He’s got a brother (William) who owns the farm, just up the road, from his yard.
I delivered a generator to his yard during the summer - really nice bloke! He didn’t like how much he was being charged for the delivery and collection of the generator from Evesham - £100 each way. He got on the phone to the company I was working for and gave them what for…!
Theres another one that does machinery transport, mainly farm stuff.
