As above…very weird.

Yer had a good look thought it might be a bit of camera trickery to fool us , but does appear to to be a genuine tape , but I’m no expert , CSI Trucknet over to you …

Looks fake.the position it cuts accross is 90 degress and you dont see its back end in the clip when it does this

That’s because it’s a ghostcar duh!

I dont see the big deal about a burd driving a truck

Probably edited footage.

Have any of you seen any ghostly type things out on the road? Going out on a limb of potential ridicule here but what the hell for the sake of chat; When I was 9 my family moved from Orkney to Engand. My Dad rented a Luton box transit van to pick up the small bits of furniture that wouldn’t fit in the Pickford’s lorry. He took my uncle and me with him and we drove up from Lincs. We were driving at night up a hill along the A9 on the black isle in Scotland.

We were travelling quite slowly through a section with quite large houses on the left amongst trees. As we rounded a bend up this hill we came across a young woman standing by the side of the road on the left. She looked very strange. Hard to explain. But the really bizarre thing was she was waving a ruddy great sun flower up and down. The image is etched in my memory. She was wearing really old clothes. She was waving this blinking sun flower up and down in slow motion. As I was 9 years old and found it quite funny and think I gave her the Vs trying to show off, having just been taught the Vs by my mate at school. As we got closer she disappeared. I’m talking not moving behind a tree or something but one min there, then she just wasn’t there. Actually vanished. I’ve never in my life seen something real vanish before me that shouldn’t vanish.

It didn’t bother me at the age of 9. It pretty well freaked my uncle and Dad out. They pulled over shortly after and I remember how flustered they seemed but I didn’t get it at the time. I don’t know about Ghosts now or believing in all that stuff but it was pretty odd whatever the cause.

It’s not a fake shot.
The car has whizzed out of the right hand out lane that is behind the advancing car in the foreground, from 1st person line of sight.

At the last minute, he’s attempted a sharp right hand turn right across the 1st person car.
If the oncoming car is actually making an illegal turn here, that would do a lot to motivate such a right-turner into “doing it rather fast”…

Note the foreground car is on the brakes before the car actually ‘appears’ for him to hit. He’s obviously seen it before we can from the camera vantage point.

Trucknet CSI, please consider this small investigation my application to join your esteemed organisation. As a source of reference, I have also posted this to the YouTube video itself.

At 0:03 look in the distance on the opposite side of the intersection and on the opposite carriageway, you’ll see TWO cars in your line of sight drive past between the tram and the car behind the white van, the first one having dim headlights. The first one (out of view) turns right and you see it reappear briefly at 0:08 passing behind some bushes. Your ‘ghost car’ was the SECOND car that didn’t turn right (only one car reappeared behind the bushes), but continued ahead (rightly or wrongly), maybe he had a green light to turn RIGHT at the intersection but decided at the last minute to veer left to go straight ahead. To do this was a little S-type maneuver which when you look at the video properly, keeps it perfectly in the blind spot behind the two cars ahead of the video car. In what is a very unlucky situation, the car in front of the BMW also held the ‘ghost car’ in the BMW’s blind spot until finally the ‘ghost car’ appeared from behind it, causing the BMW to hit its brakes.

Did I pass?!
