if your going to sleep in the bed get a single fitted sheet and a duvet and pilllow - your local supermarket will have them for about £20 . If the bunks not clean stay out of it and complain like hell.
My honest opinion anyone caught in the bed of a truck with boots or a hi vis on needs shot on the spot.Slip off the boots and socks and leave them at the pedals ,drop the trousers onto the passenger seat and your top/polo shirt on top of it 30-40 seconds max - what is so hard about that?

He can’t complain, it appears he’s one of the people making the bunk dirty.
You may want to re-read the OPs post mate, he’s not having nights out he just uses the bunk to get his head down whilst on break

Sleeping in a shared truck is disgusting and should never ever, ever, happan. (unless the truck has been fully and professional cleaned-out and valeted before being handed over to the next user). The thought of double-manning makes me sick.
Meanwhile back in the real world …
I double man and thank god I don’t do it with someone who is not obsessed with cleanliness ! Ok he wears the same socks all month and smells like a haggis but we get the job done .
Says the man whose ■■■■■ last night would have stripped the varnish off a foot locker.
Oh and BTW, Fixed That For You. You’re welcome.
Oh and another BTW, I am in the middle of preparing this for my tea before I leave for work. bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9623 … ion-toasts
Which I am having with a side order of Baked Beans, don’t plan on taking any deep breaths tonight, it’s gonna be bad for you.

I’m not sure my co-driver will be too impressed if I strip all that lot off tonight as I climb onto the bunk while he pilots us to Charnock Richard.
I’ll just stick to taking the boots off, they’ll be off as soon as we get back into the cab after our Watford Gap coffee stop anyway and will stay off then for my driving stint back to London Colney, he does the trailer change and I do the digi card change so no need for me to leave the cab.
We take one pillow with us and use a different side each, his is the side with the drool on it.
