For anyone worrying about “jumping” from their job to try and get more money, my experience after jumping was a few nerve-wracking weeks but then landed a job paying 20 grand more than I was on last year. So I can’t advise on your own situation but it can be done - I’m certainly no great shakes as a driver.

I also left my job after the boss would say there’s no other jobs it’d easy here etc etc. They were always getting visits from vosa a shoddy outfit. Fast forward a year I did My adr and I’m on 15 grand a year more doing less hours

Similar for me. Took me ages to actually get the conviction to jump but eventually enough was enough and after a few weeks of fretting I’m left wondering why I stuck at my old place for so long.
I’m now on about 12k a year more but for 15hrs a week less.

well, ye made my day…
Never stay anywhere your not happy.
Forget the driver shortage you can and will be replaced .
Find a job that YOU are happy in - and that dosen’t mean more money . Find somewhere you enjoy what your doing , you are working with a good squad of people that you can have a laugh with and somewhere where the traffic office / planners dont treat you like a child . If you can find that the money will sort itself out or you sort your life out to live on the money your being paid .
