Getting that sinking feeling

setting out from the yard this morning at 6am, Im bimbling down the A1, a couple of minutes later a truck coming in the opposite direction flashes me. In the dark distance I see hazard lights flashing on a vehicle thats obviously pulled over in the near side lane, suddenly I see what looks like the remains of a truck tyre blow out in front of me, knowing that its unlikely to cause me tyres any damage & unable to avoid it, its obvious Im gonna end up driving 18 tonnes of DAF over it. As I get right up to it, I see in the headlights the words “DIAWA” written on what I thought was 1 part of the tyre carcass laid out in front of me, Yep you guessed it, someone had dropped several fishing holdalls in the road off the roof rack of a car… hope it wasn`t expensive stuff inside
