Welcome johnny000

Congratulations on passing c

There are loads of topics here about newbies and the quest for work unfortunatly no easy way just keep trying and someone will give you a chance some are lucky and get the break quickly others it takes longer but dont get disalusioned keep at it and you will find a company or agency (which seems to be the easier way of getting work) and dont think ive got cat c only driving that ,i have started on the 7 1/2 tonner so be prepared to drive anything then get a reputation and you will be there soon with that licence( cat c) and your the only one ,they need you and off you go happy days,
Best of luck

tell them you have experience
problem solved

Congratulations!

Others might disagree but try going to the agencies or companies in person. Look smart but ready for work, like clean work jeans, a polo shirt and work boots. I’d suggest getting your head around drivers hours rules, working time rules and even study a road map. Most agencies have a little test on the rules and some have a geographic test. Agencies often tell me that lots of drivers do badly at these so if you do well it will make you look good. And yes, take any driving work you can get. Drive some-ones van a couple of times, display some common sense and get everything done and their more likely to send you out in a truck.
