Hi all, I’m currently a long distance driver for a small very neche market company who only have 2 clients. It’s very small payloads and we tend to use estate cars as we just don’t need vans.
I’m looking for advice on how to go about setting up myself to do the same long distance stuff but with bigger and better loads. As the company I work with only runs to and from very certain places and generally for 1 main customer I haven’t had any dealings with other companies and don’t know how to even begin looking for getting contracts or the beginnings of starting up myself.
Does anyone have experience of this and any advice on where I should be looking to start.
This is hopefully the start of a path to getting into the big haulage and getting my C+E.
