we’re having to book tests a couple of months in advance in Devon !! I think they want us to use the private centres instead 
You can only book them 3 months in advance and we do it close to 3 months. We still struggle to get dates. We couldnt get anything in May when we tried booking an MOT in mid Feb. Bearing in mind we are based right on the south coast near Bournemouth, they were trying to get us to travel to Guildford for a test!

We are finding that the private centres are more expensive and have very limited bookings as they are only taking tests on 2 days per week so its a vicious circle!
Looks like vosa stations days are numbered I think there steering towards the ATF route

We are finding that the private centres are more expensive and have very limited bookings as they are only taking tests on 2 days per week so its a vicious circle!
I was told its about £700 a day for the vosa mot man, is bonkers they need to wake up and allow the training of other parties for the job.

Kirkam closes down around the beging of June and that is gone. Just office staff stopping on for a week or 2 and then THAT is IT all Done for ever.

Bloody disgracefull if You ask Me closing them down, they ought to all be renovated & kept in use, its privatisation and nothing else…
