Get yourself to bed drive

“It’s gonna be at least three hours mate, get yourself to bed drive”. Ah, the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day. Night night. Zzzzzzzzzszzzzzz

Elisabeth the Chef Bakery, per chance?

Lol @ Simon  . It’s not Liz the chef, it’s on the same site though. We turn left around the back and go to a Co called Vandemoortele.

Tell them after 1 hr delay it’s law that they have to bring out a selection Danish Pastries, Apple Turnovers, Fresh Cream Slices …etc etc.

Ahh, so you’re the gimp who drops his trailer onto bay 2 making it ■■■■■■ impossible to get onto bay 1 on your good side, so you gotta come in blind side which isn’t much bloody easier! :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s a selection from the factory shop a few years ago

Sadly the shop is no longer trading :frowning: :frowning:

What can I say Daidap? . In my defence though we do have a stand trailer there but I always ring a few hours before I’m due and ask them to live load me basically as I’m too lazy to drop and pick up trailers.

If I am there in future and you’re struggling to get onto bay 1 just gimme a shout and I’ll back it on for you!

Touché!

It’ll be a while before I’m there again as I’m no longer with Birds, but I’ll keep your offer in mind…

Well that means that I can stop looking out for the bright orange motor then?

I do agree with you though that bay 1 is a bugger to get onto, especially if the trailer on bay 2 has a unit on the front of it.Who are you on for now then?

My wife is from Worcester, so I know the area quite well. I take it your leaving the site and then turning right onto Martley Road before turning right onto Henwick Road and going past the University before heading towards the M5?

My brother-in-law used to work at Liz The Chef as a Line Manager, used to love all the free cakes he used to bring home.

You’ll have a job to spot me now, I’m working for Gregory

God yeah I will. It’s not like they’re a rare sight on the M5 is it?

Simon I usually turn right out of site but then turn left at the main road and go through Holt Heath then across to Droitwich. I do that as I think Worcester centre itself is pretty unfit for artics (especially crossing the river), so as I’m all about the easy life that’s what I do.

The City centre is terrible for artics, and crossing the river can be a nightmare, that one and only bridge is too tight at either end if going from the McDonalds end over towards the city.
