Get windows 7 free for 90 days

when it asks for your profession, select IT WORKER as it is not available to every tom,■■■■ and harry :smiling_imp:
and best to use microsoft explorer to download it as i found it imposible to download with google chrome

The 90-day Trial is the full working version of the Windows 7 Enterprise, the version most of you will be working with in your corporate environment. It will not require a product key (it is embedded with the download).

The 90-day Trial will shut down once every hour when you have reached the end of the 90-day evaluation period.

After the 90-day Trial expires, if you wish to continue to use Windows 7 Enterprise, please note that you will be required to purchase and perform a clean installation of Windows 7, including drivers and applications. Please keep this in mind; Windows 7 Enterprise is not available through retail channels.

So unless you want to re-install Windows every 90 days and reactivate it within 10 days of re-installing, steer clear.

My #Vista does everything I need it to, but I used a friends pc with 7 installed and found it quite good, but would the cost of the full installation be worthwhile, say in a years time?

Would currently installed software work with 7?

I’ve found that more works off the shelf than ever did with Vista. :open_mouth:
A few apps I work with on regular basis will not run on Vista, but run
quite happily on Win 7.

you can force software to run on windows “x” if you right click on the program you trying to run then click tab Compatibility and chose to run the program lets say in Windwos XP SP3 and in the same window click run as administrator, the major problem you will find if you install 64 bit Windows version and the program not suport that, most of program will run but there is still few old which will not unless you upgraded them, Windows 7 is upgrade version of Vista I think microsoft was tired trying to fix all the issues with vista and didn’t want give new version of vista free of charge so they made new Windows 7 which is miles better still looks like vista and runs like one only there is no errors ect. I run Windows 7 for 4 months now and I have not got one single problem yet, never crashes ect., I think is good upgrade for the value only if you computer spec is up to it then it will run very smooth if not you will be better with Win XP

I tried Vista but it was so bad and slow that after three days I went back to Win XP :open_mouth:

I’ve been running Windows 7 Home Premium for a few months now and think it’s the best operating system Microsoft have produced, I’ve had no problems worth talking about with software compatibility.
Initially it did take a while to get used to navigating around the system but once understood I found it better than previous Windows flavours
Having said that I’d still like to be able to use a “up one level button” without having to use the breadcrumb bar but you can’t have everything I suppose.

Windows 7 has to be good to pry me away from Windows XP

I must admit, I treated myself and splashed out for 7 ultimate when I saw this price.

link

best if you install it on a seperate drive and then you can use you orignal OS and have a go with 7 aswell
its called DUAL BOOT and you will find loads of “how to do it” articles on the net

What he ^^^ said

3 PCs in the house, laptop on Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)for ■■■■■■■ about on, ‘main’ PC that does most of the work (games, DVD encoding etc) on XP Pro and a 3rd running Windows Home Server.

On the PC’s I much prefere XP, the 7 just seems slower and when I tried it on the main PC for a while it killed the frame rate on games and added about 15 mins to a dvd encode so back to XP for me.

Only time I’ll be upgrading is when (in years to come) I build a new main PC on x64 with massive amounts of RAM, 4GB is starting to struggle with the latest games
