Get what you pay for!

Over the last year we have had many enquirires from candidates who have previously gone through a Broker site for HGV licence acquisition. Some points to consider before you part with your money.

  1. Spend more time talking DIRECTLY with a local provider, will be cheaper as you wont be paying the broker fees.
  2. Check out pass rates with providers. In leicester for example, 2013, the average pass rate for all HGV tests was 39%, compare that to our pass rate of 65%, it shows large differences in training standards between providers.
  3. Talk to other people about their training experience, can they recommend a provider, or steer you away from a poor one.
  4. Check how many hours training you will get per day
  5. Check the price includes your Theory tests, CPC part 2 and 4 (if needed), practical training and test fees.
  6. Compare the prices with another provider. Dont forget to ask about pass rates, and make sure you check them out.
  7. Do they offer an assessment drive prior to telling you how long you need to train, if not how can they know the length of your course.
  8. If in doubt, ask again.
