… at about mach2 with only the sea to stop you.
me and a mate cycled along the cliff tops from scarborough with the goal of getting to robin hoods bay. the last bit we ended up in the woods and on roads, spots the road going down hill and thought that’ll be the one. flat out into runswick bay - doh, not wanting to not reach our goal, but not wanting to ride back up the hill, we rode around the cliff through the sea which luckily was about 6 / 8 inches deep and along the beach for a well deserved pint an ice cream, proberly not ideal before the cramp riddled 22 / 25 mile ride home!
