Gerry Marshall 1941 - 2005

I’m sure Pat {Hasler} will remember Gerry Marshall for his racing antics in the Vauxhalls called “The Old Nail”," Baby Bertha" & Big Bertha way back in the’70s. He sadly suffered a fatal heart attack at Silverstone while at the wheel of a Camaro last Thursday (21st). Gerry was one of the great saloon car drivers he once said whats the point of driving a car in a straight line when it will go just as fast sideways. Although Gerry was a larger than life person {in more ways than one} he started his race career in a Mini :open_mouth: . he will I’m sure be remembered for his Supersaloon races. RIP Mate. pistonheads.com/news/default … ryId=10428
