(not just ‘book the second half of your break’!)

Running all kinds of kit was GLAMOROUS back then, even if it was just models that ended up getting blown up a lot eh?

RIP.

who had the hots for marina then… :grimacing:

Still a big fan of all the stuff he has produced over the decades, very nostalgic t.v indeed and better than the dross that is churned out today, live action shows U.F.O , Space 1999 ,The protectors … but most of all Thunderbirds i grew up on the repeats in the mid 70’s with all the fantastic models built by the late Derek Meddings and his team who did a lot of the Bond movie model effects.

Hell yes! - A girl that does everything you say, and doesn’t talk! :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:
Who cares if she smells of fish… I’ve had worse!
…Then there’s Atlanta, who does talk, but makes up for it with a decent voice, and has a dad that can’t run after you for being caught in the wrong part of the house, 'cos he’s in a hoverchair! :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Millions of us got so much pleasure from those great series.

My favourite and of which i have the whole lot on DVD is Terrahawks, watching those again shows there to be much adult subtle humour, well worth tracking down for Anderson fans.

I see that the North koreans are a bit upset too by his passing

Always preferred those “Angel” pilots from Captain Scarlet.

I certainly fancied Marina as much as Troy Tempest. Her acting could be a bit wooden at times I must admit.I dont think that any of to-days lot are producing work that will stand up in 40 or 50 years time.R.I.P. to one of the worlds greats.

It’s called Trucknet because its about trucks shurely the Mod’s should remove the previous posts as they have nothing to do with Trucks. Eddie.

Did you not see some of the kit that was kept in the Thunderbird 2 pods ■■? More axles than you could shake a stick at

P.S. Lighten up Eddie…it’s Christmas ( well sort of )

Whenever I see the huge mobile cranes with 20 plus axles toodling along I always think to myself “International Rescue had one of those”, and cast an eye to the sky trying to spot Thunderbird 2

Space 1999… Rip…
