Germany to ditch the digital tacho

They may revert to the old fashioned log book sytstem,as the they are fed up with the digi,and the cost to buy the associated equipment for it,for a small operator or owner driver.How can you be fined for a machine that does not work,adding time when you stop.

Given that the digital tachograph is an EU requirement and Germany are one of the masters of the EU I can’t see this happening.

It would be good if it did happen and we all went back to lie sheets though :smiley:

If you think about the fortune the BAG are collecting in fines no wonder Germany is the strongest economy in Europe.
