jUST thought that you might like to know,here in Germany
they are going to town with the vehicle checks, and are
being a BIT SHARP as regards the new rules,be prepared for checks
as here in NRW area they are going to continue the increased checks for a while yet,
and are they checking plenty of eastern bloc charlies or still going for the easier targets?
stopped me last week.i had literally just paid for my journey at straalen and within two minutes got the pull.
once he checked my ticket i was ok. he said sorry driver, its not on the system yet. it bloody wouldnt be would it after approx two mins of buying it. 
i got stoped as well but i got the numbers the rong way well it was a new truck just a mistake . he wonted 150 euros of me so i asked him to tell me his number .on the van he was in he couldent so no fine just had to change the ticket but that still cost 3 euros thay just wont to make money .
AS regards EASTERN Block vehicles YES they are ,
OHTERRY , if they see you are not fitted with a
OBU then they check with their LAP TOP and
you are unfortunatly going to be stopped even if it was 15 mins later as
some times the time taken FOR YOUR JOURNEY TO GET PUT ON LINE IS
one which means you will get pulled and checked out, this has happened to a few of our drivers as well, when they have a lorry with out a OBU unit fitted,
Boost WHICH TICKET; If it was your maut ticket you was very lucky
as normaly they go to town,on such mistakes.
