German requirements/pay

Just a couple of questions posed out of interest -

  1. Does Germany have a version of FCOS/FIMO like France or does a regular license suffice ?

  2. How much on average do Germans drivers earn ■■ Probably one for Brit Pete.

All posed for long term consideration. Any useful info about getting work/working in Germany would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

YOU can drive with your HGV licence, however
you will still have to do the 35hrs worth of courses
to ensure that you can still earn your wage as a commerical
driver as of 2014,
In germany you can take a city and guilds exam
for professional driver (Berufskraftfahrer) ; YOU
do learn a hell of a lot and it also can get you
a better payed job??

Wages vary from county to county

at present your earnings may be from
€1300 to €2,600 before tax also
meal allowance,night out allowance
varies and can be any thing from
€30-- to €250 for a week , also
sundays and bank holidays
are payed extra from €40 to €90
or more,
you will need to be able to
speak ,read and write ,
where are you thinging of liveing
in germany ; have a look at the job center
website as you may find some jobs advertised
there,

Some firms do still pay per hour worked but
they are getting rare, you wil find the majority
pay a monthly wage,
