German Load Security

One experienced but tedious German load security journalist will be tutting at this. The driver should have clearly tack-welded additional strengthening steel bars to the roof prior to taking this load, with such woefully insufficient securing, out on the autobahn.

What a waste :frowning:

Looks like the anti slip mats have held the pallets well lol.

Fire fighters were forced to wear breathing apparatus to protect them from beer fumes as they staged the clean-up.

and we thought our health and safety was bad.

You may laugh…

… back in the mid-90’s I used to do a fair bit at Trade Team Hilton, just outside Derby, which was the NDC for Bass brewery’s canned and bottled beers. Dropped pallets and busted cases were a fairly regular occurrence; we had one agency FLT guy who was sent to clear one such up, and quite literally got ■■■■■■ on the fumes and he hadn’t drunk a single drop of the stuff! Turned out he was tee-total, had never drunk alcohol in his life, so possibly wasn’t used to it.
