Could someone tell me for CERTAIN whether there is a driving ban on the 29th April as well as the 1st May in Germany.

I have received very different advice from numerous sources.

29th is a Sunday,so theres the normal weekend driving ban.

1 May is a bank holiday so ban will be from 22.00 on 30th April until 22.00h on 1 May

Thanks. It was mentioned that there was some ban on the Monday (30th) as well as the tuesday, but thanks for your replies.

The ban will be from Midnight on the 30th, not 22:00. Unlike France, German Sunday and Public holiday bans begin at midnight.

but if you are tipping in germany . call the comp first cos a lot will be closed as a bridge day .
